Most of what I do comes down to one question people don't think to ask until they're already unhappy: does this thing fit? Not "does it look good in the photo" — fit. Whether the cap sits where it should, whether the band digs in by hour six, whether you can put it on yourself on a Tuesday morning without a mirror in each hand.
Fit is where the majority of returns come from, and it's the part that's hardest to judge from a listing. So that's the part I write about here.

How I think about recommendations
I try not to talk anyone into a wig. The recommendations on this site come from a written set of rules, and the result page shows you which of your answers led to which part of the suggestion. If the reasoning doesn't match your situation, you should be able to see that immediately and adjust — that's the whole point of showing the reasoning at all.
I'd also rather tell you what a wig isn't good at. Very high density photographs beautifully and wears hot. Long hair tangles more, and no amount of care routine changes that entirely. Lace looks best when it's handled least. None of that stops a wig being the right choice — but you'll be happier making the choice with those parts in view.
